Notifications

Any message being send by Pure, or another user, will show up as a notification. By taking a look at these settings any user can define which notifications to receive. 

This article will give an overview for Personal users.

 

Messages are usually generated when:

  • the Person association change (the person is added to or removed from a record)
  • a Comment is added to a record (an editor has a comment or question)
  • a Workflow related task is being assigned. (content need to be moved forward in the workflow)

The messages and notifications can differ between the content types available, so it is recommended to take a look for each content type.

 
Research output notification options

 

Notifications are found from the bell-icon, here are some examples from a Personal user:

 

For Editors, besides the messages mentioned above, they would include:

  • editorial tasks, which requires an action (For example content approval/validation)
    • Note: such tasks are only required if a content type has Workflow assigned to it.
