How Can We Help?
Audit Retention Purger JobAudit Retention Purger Job
What
Pure has a job named "Audit Retention Purger". What does it do, any why do we have it?
How
The job purges audit entries after the configured retention period.
The job is always running with the default schedule and it is not recommend changing this, unless you as Institution need to fulfill specific GDPR requirements or similar.
The way to change the job schedule for it to handle audit retention in a different time based on GDPR requirement is by updating the configuration entered in the Data retention policy tab found here Administrator --> Data Retention Policy. When this configuration is blank, the job will be running in the default schedule.
Note:
If no Data retention policy has been configured the job will log this after each run:
INFO: No audit retention policy configured, no audit maintenance to perform!
