In the Editor windows you have the History and comments section.
And more details can be found in Administrator > System information > Audit.

But what is shown in the History and comments field compared with the audit?

• In general all changes are stored in the Audit log, but only changes relevant to the actual content is shown in the History and comments.

And why does it sometime state the text "There is no history for this content" in the History and comments section. But then when we click "show all", then it appears?

• "There is no history for this content" is shown if there are 100 or more history entries.
  • The behavior for this is changed in 5.18.2 to find the first 100 relevant changes and show them see: PURESUPPORT-65963 for more details.
